Today isn’t just any Thursday, today is Katherine’s birthday! She has been celebrating all week and we plan to continue the celebrations into the weekend when we can all celebrate together 🙂 Yesterday, Stia, Jean and William headed down to Northpark Center to finish birthday shopping for Katherine and tackle a few Christmas to-dos. The mall was so busy- everyone must be trying to finish up Christmas early! We had a chance to grab a quick lunch at the Mermaid Bar in between errands. Lunch looks a little bit different now than when William would sleep through it. He doesn’t want anything to do with puffs or his own food, he just reaches his little hand out to try to get our food! We decided to order him a kids grilled cheese on wheat bread with fruit on the side. Best idea ever. He sat there happily eating for about 10 minutes, which gave us enough time to finish our meals!

Back in November we talked a little bit about the velvet trend. Since then our love of velvet has only grown stronger. Velvet anything catches our eye and that was the case with these velvet shoes. We were out shopping for our trip to Healdsburg and spotted these velvet shoes. It was kind of love at first sight 🙂 They are such a fun way to wear velvet and so cute worn like this with jeans and a cute top! Have any of you tried the velvet trend?
