It’s fall and the time of year when we are ready to start wearing fall clothing. As you know, we live in Dallas & although we had a taste of fall weather this past weekend, we’ve heard the temperatures have already heated back up! A transitional leather dress like this makes us feel like we are in a new season, while still being light enough to be comfortable in the heat. Come on fall weather!!

Packing for London & Paris

We are heading to London and Paris in a couple of days, so we are busy deciding what to pack. We’ve had a bad experience with checking bags – lost golf clubs on the Beaver Creek trip! So… since we don’t want to waste any precious time waiting for bags to be found and delivered, our goal is to pack in just a carry-on and hand bag. Quite a challenge! We decided if we pack within a neutral color palette & add a pop of color, we may be able to do it. We’ll let you know if we were successful!

As we are sure you’ve heard, purple is one of the top trends in fashion this season. We don’t have much of it in our closet, so we “needed” to go shopping to find something purple that we could add to our wardrobe. We found this great tailored Tibi dress and fell in love! It’s such a ladylike dress, with its flattering waistline, but stunning in this great color. We’re looking forward to adding more purple to our closet!
