Merry Christmas! While we strive to keep our focus on the reason for the season, sometimes the shopping/gifting/holiday cheer gets a little overwhelming. To that end, every year we start Christmas morning reading the Christmas Story (Luke 2:1-20) and remembering what Christmas is really about.

“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we may live through Him.” 1 John 4:9

Merry Christmas Eve! One of our favorite Christmas traditions is wearing matching PJs. We even get our husbands to agree to matching pjs (and we know they secretly love it!). We try to go for cute & comfy – sometimes hard to achieve, but thankfully J.Crew had just what we needed! After Christmas Eve service, we come home and cook, sometimes it’s as simple as tamales, queso and guacamole; sometimes a beef tenderloin and all the trimmings. This year we’re planning to grill rack of lamb and have roasted potatoes & veggies. After dinner, we get in our PJs, open just one present and spend the rest of the night relaxing in our pajamas. Only two shopping days left! Christmas is officially here and many of us are traveling to see loved ones this week. Comfort is definitely key for long road trips or plane rides, but we always like to try to look put together as well. Flats are a must for travel days, so we usually opt for jeans or leggings with boots or booties. Worn along with the ease of a button down shirt layered with a vest, and a great handbag, this look says casual chic – and comfort!
