One of our favorite layering pieces for spring is a long cardigan. We have been a fan ever since we met Gwyneth Paltrow at her Goop pop-up shop in Dallas last year. She showed up in a cardigan over a button up shirt and sneakers- and she looked oh-so-chic! Since then we have incorporated a long cardigan into our wardrobes for both weekend wear and travel. It is the perfect thing to wear when you are over wearing your winter coat, but still need that top layer! Plus, we love the slide slits of this long cardigan.

Helloo, Fall! We’re so happy that you’re here. Although we are still waiting for more fall-like temps, it looks like we are done with the triple-digits. It’s been a slow process, but we are starting to transition to our fall wardrobes. This gray t-shirt dress is helping with that transition. It’s one of those items that can be worn from summer into fall and next summer all over again. Here Katherine has styled it super casual, custom Converse sneakers and an over-sized tote bag make this the perfect outfit for weekend coffee or running errands. Once the temps drop below the 90’s, we’ll add a scarf, lace-up flats and a leather jacket. Until then, this is what fall dressing looks like around here!

On another note, we recently discovered the online boutique Buru. It’s a great place to shop for any of you moms or moms to be! leopard flats under $50

After getting back from London Sunday evening, we decided to take yesterday off to catch up on email, laundry, and relax a little bit. The trip was a blast, even though it rained every single day, but that didn’t stop us! We can’t wait to share all about our afternoon tea experience at Four Seasons London and another post all about our trip… Stay tuned!

Leopard is something we have always loved and have always considered a neutral. It seems to go with almost everything and we love the little sass it adds to any outfit. If you read our post about our obsession with lace-up flats, you’ll know these leopard flats under $50 were an immediate purchase. Because the weather has been so hot, we are trying to resist the urge to start wearing fall items, but this particular day the weather was a little cooler and sandals just weren’t going to cut it.
