A couple of years ago we were at Victor Tango’s and tried the unusual combination of chicken & waffles – and we loved it! We always like a challenge and this weekend we decided to try making chicken & waffles for brunch. This recipe for Fried Chicken along with the Ancho Honey Drizzle and the Buttermilk Waffle base was a match made in heaven! We tweaked the recipe for the chicken slightly by using this technique, which we prefer to deep frying. We left the vanilla out of the waffles & added a pinch of cinnamon to go along with the drizzle. It was a delicious & decadent treat!
