While in New York for Fashion Week in February, we had a great time at the Bare Minerals pop-up beauty bar in Soho.  It was like being kids in a candy store!  We had the opportunity to try all kinds of new products and colors, and we each also had a makeover by a Bare Minerals makeup artist.

One of the things that we all walked away with was the amazing difference contouring and highlighting can make, without looking like you are wearing a ton of makeup, or not looking like yourself.  We can’t all go have a professional makeover, and truthfully, we forgot a lot of what we were shown, so we were so happy when we heard about the Sephora Contour App.  The app teaches who to contour and highlight and it’s accessed from your mobile phone, and so easy to use.  Just follow the 5 steps, beginning with a selfie, and a virtual makeup artist will show you exactly where and how to apply contouring and highlighting for your face shape and features.  The app also recommends products to use for contouring and highlighting.  When you are finished you will receive a personalized email with each step-by-step detail!  Ah-mazing.
