One of the trends we’re seeing for spring & one of Ken Downing’s and Neiman Marcus’ Top 10 Trends is Artistic Prints. These can range from geometric & graphic prints, to colorful florals & tribal prints. One of our favorites is this version of the classic DVF wrap dress. We love the watercolor look of the abstract leopard print & the two different color ways of the fabric that gives the illusion of matched separates. snakeskin print

Leopard has always been a neutral of choice for us. Whether it be in our closets or home decor, a dose of leopard always seems just right. While at Zara recently, this silky, snakeskin print top unexpectedly caught our eye & we decided to give it a try! The light snakeskin print isn’t too overwhelming and is perfect paired with black jeans or a flirty black skirt, & then with white jeans as we transition into the warmer months. Adding these crystal drop “wow” earrings makes the perfect pop for this casual weekend wear. We’ve found a little snakeskin is a welcome addition to our neutrals!

plaid & fur

Have you recovered from all the Christmas festivities yet?! We’re still enjoying Christmas pajamas and relaxing. As with Black Friday, we don’t like to venture out into the crowds on the day after Christmas. But, prior to Christmas, we were busy running here and there seeing friends & celebrating. This meant sprinting out of the house from work and trying to look “festive.” This plaid dress fits the bill and has been on repeat since buying it earlier this month. We love the subtle plaid, and have worn it a variety of ways: without a vest, with bordeaux fur vest or black fur vest, flat boots or booties, leggings, bare legs or tights. We weren’t kidding about this dress being on repeat!

For those of you on a long vacation from work/school/etc, enjoy your time off! We sure are!
