We’ve been intrigued by calligraphy since we can remember, but we really became interested when Katherine and Stia were planning their weddings. It’s such a beautiful art and seems to be experiencing a resurgence in popularity. We ‘ve been trying to take a beginner’s class, but were having trouble signing up before the classes sold out! We finally took advantage of a couple of cancellations at Design Roots and did it. It was so much harder than we thought & pretty intense on the concentration end, but we loved it! We were so sad that Kat couldn’t make it, but now we have lots of tips to help her. We can’t wait to address our first envelope – for now we’re happy practicing our names!
