Sometimes a simple skirt in a bright color is the perfect base for a great outfit. We found this fit & flare neon green skirt at J. Crew. It caught our eye and we felt like we should get it, even though at the time we had no idea how or with what we would wear it. As it turns out, with the simple addition of this sheer black Equipment top, a black cami, and couple of pieces of statement jewelry it all came together! Add these black strappy heels and a great handbag, and we had an outfit. Effortless. We wish it always worked that way!

A couple of weeks ago, while we were in Austin, we had the treat of visiting Kendra Scott’s Design Center. It’s an amazing set-up with artists, designers, marketing & Kendra Scott’s office, as well. After our tour we had the opportunity to see the new Summer 2014 Collection. It’s gorgeous! The key words are gold, color & layering. The new Tosha necklace is great for layering – we want one in every color! The Opie and Teresa necklaces are beautiful, and also look great added to the Tosha. An Andy bracelet, along with a set of the assorted bangles, makes a great wrist stack, add a Graham bracelet and you’ll have the perfect arm party! And wait until you see the darling zebra design on these earrings. We could hardly wait for the launch, but today is the day! I bet you can guess where we’ll be stopping on the way home from work…!
