Neutrals, hot pink & baby blue are the colors we are typically drawn towards. But, in the last few weeks, cobalt blue has moved up the ranks. After purchasing this silk top by Amanda Uprichard, we found ourselves completely drawn to the color. Cobalt blue looks crisp against white denim like we have styled it here, but also pops with black, other blues & the occasional neon, like this Kendra Scott necklace. We also love the slightly open back of this top, showing just the teeniest bit of skin. This one may be on repeat throughout the summer!

Later this week we will be headed to Scottsdale for the long weekend. Words can’t express how excited we are to 1) lay in the sun, 2) shop & spa, 3) hike Troon North, and 4) eat & drink and enjoy everything the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale has to offer (which is a lot!). We’ll be taking over the Four Seasons Scottsdale’s Instagram starting Thursday, so be sure to follow along here! Yes, we know we aren’t escaping the heat, but we’ve heard that the desert heat is nothing compared to this Texas humidity. Our Scottsdale packing list includes: bikinis, cover ups, sun hats, sandals & books. We plan on getting a lot of r&r this holiday weekend and we can’t wait! Happy Friday! This week seemed like a long week– must be the anticipation of the upcoming 4th of July weekend! While watching the US Mens soccer team play last Sunday, we made one of our go-to cocktail recipes. For those of you who were asking on instagram, here is the recipe for The Blueberry Smash. A smash is a perfect summer cocktail, usually with some type of fruit involved and served over crushed ice. Each of these drinks is so unique & we plan to work through the rest of the recipes this summer! Sounds like a terrible job, doesn’t it? Next up… The Charteuse Smash!
