Maxi dresses are something that we swear by in the warmer months. We continue to gravitate towards maxi dresses, but have recently come to love maxi skirts as well. And we couldn’t resist the color of this one from Windsor Fashions! Here we’ve styled it with a casual button down tied at the waist, and just a touch of leopard print with the sandals and tortoise shell earrings as accents. This is a great casual look, but trade the button down for a silk cami and a pair of heels and you’re ready for date night. Picture it over your favorite bikini as a cover up – what a versatile piece to add to your closet! Luckily, we just booked a 4th of July getaway and are already counting down the days to a long weekend relaxing by the pool. You can be sure this maxi skirt will be coming along!

Sometimes you fall in love with a dress the minute you see it. That’s what happened with this Tibi dress – and most everything Tibi, actually! We first saw this dress back in February, but we decided although we loved it, it was a higher price point for a dress that we might only wear once because of the unique pattern – too memorable! At this price, we usually like to invest in something a little more subtle, that we can wear from season to season, and from year to year. Later in the season, we were shopping the sale racks at Neimans and there it was, not only on sale, but also in the right size! That doesn’t usually happen, and without thinking twice, that dress was in our closet. Although it was from February, the light material and lace graphic design make it easy to transition to spring & summer. We’ve already worn it a few times with strappy sandals. Plus, we can wear this dress into fall, by adding a leather jacket, tights & booties. It’s hard to be patient, but some things are just worth waiting for!
