Happy Friday! We think that chandeliers are a great style accent in a room. And lately, we’ve been thinking of chandeliers as a statement piece – and not just in the dining room. With chandeliers available in every style, size & budget, adding one is a great way to update any room. We’ve found the perfect place to add a chandelier… in our kitchen, master bedroom, master bathroom & closet (which is definitely in the redo plan!), hanging over a game table, home office & even on the patio. In fact, we are pretty sure a chandelier will make any space more beautiful!

We’re getting geared up for Super Bowl Sunday around here. The guys are looking forward to a good game and the girls are looking forward to some good commercials – we hope! Of course, along with the game and commercials we need some football food. On football Sunday a few weeks ago, Justin presented us with another food challenge… wings! Not at the top of our favorite foods, but the guys love them, so we entered into the spirit of the challenge & also got a little creative. One of the recipes we liked best was this one for One Pan Thai Sticky Wings. Besides the fact that they were delicious, we love the idea of doing all the cooking in one pan. Less time cleaning up is always a plus!

Now, more than ever, we are ready for spring! The holidays have come & gone and it feels like winter is dragging on. It’s still freezing in Dallas! While shopping at The Impeccable Pig last weekend, our eyes were drawn to the spring-like colors in this dress, and the tribal print is right up our alley. To take advantage of wearing the dress now, we opted for the addition of a leather jacket. While at The Pig we also spied this tassel necklace! It’s the perfect accent to draw out the black accents of the dress and the black leather jacket. We’re crossing our fingers for warmer weather this weekend & losing the jacket!
