With the first day of fall coming tomorrow, what better way to celebrate than a carrot cake! This carrot cake with maple-cream cheese icing is our favorite carrot cake recipe. We made this one to celebrate two family birthdays last weekend and it was a hit! With the spice of the cake, it definitely starts to feel/taste like fall. We sure wish the weather would cooperate! A dream closet. The options are endless right? A walk-in with some living space for cozy conversation is a given. Katherine’s dream is a closet with enough space to hold all of her clothes in an organized manor, so that she can actually see what is in her wardrobe. Stia’s dream is enough shoe storage for all of her shoes to be in plain view and organized by heel height & color. Jean would love a dedicated space for her jewelry and handbags so that she isn’t always searching for the one piece/bag that she wants to wear at that moment. What makes a dream closet for you?

Some one once told us that you should never wear more than 25% leopard at one time. Well, as soon as we saw this fun & flirty leopard print dress we knew that rule was meant to be broken! So many things about this dress are right – the fit and flare cut, the open back & the two different leopard prints in black & white. We’ll be wearing this one to lunch, to dinner, date night …pretty much anywhere we can!
