Last week we traveled to San Diego to celebrate Grammy’s 80th birthday! It was our first flight as a family of five and thankfully we flew on the same flight as my parents. It was so nice to have the extra help!
I was trying to think of different ideas for the kids on the plane. At dinner the weekend before we left, my friend suggest snack boxes for the older boys. I went to Michael’s and bought the snack boxes, stickers, play-doh and a Thomas the train coloring set. The snack box was hands down the best idea ever – it kept the boys entertained for much longer than handing them one snack and they loved the surprise of what was inside! I highly recommend for anyone traveling with toddlers. You can change the size of compartments from as many as 8 to one large one.
