Being pregnant really does change so much about your body, including your skin. With William’s pregnancy I noticed that my skin seemed to be more dry than usual. This time around my skin is suffering from dryness again and breaking out on occasion, too. Not to mention I still have melasma from the last time I was pregnant!

Morning Pregnancy Skincare Routine
Step One: One Love Organics Vitamin B Enzyme Cleaning Oil and Make up Remover: I love the way this oil cleanser feels and smells first thing in the morning. Plus, it’s a two in one – perfect for travel and saving space to be used as a makeup remover at night.
Step Two: One Love Organics Vitamin C Moisturizing Facial Serum: I first tried this product after it was in a swag bag from an event last fall. It is one of my favorite products and it helped with my melasma from William’s pregnancy more than any other product I had tried. It’s a miracle serum in my book. My face has never looked brighter and I love that it can be used as a moisturizer by itself, or if you need more moisture, you can apply a cream over it.
Step Three: La Prairie Cellular Eye Contour Cream: My absolute favorite eye cream. Yes, there is a high price associated with this eye cream, but it lasts forever- up to a year. Not kidding! You only need a tiny dab of this eye cream – a little goes a long way!
Step Four: One Love Organics Skin Dew Coconut Water Cream: For those days I need more hydration than usual, I will opt for a layer of this coconut water cream. It feels so light on the skin, but also provides added moisture.
Step Five: Sunscreen: I always wear sunscreen all day/everyday. I fluctuate between a few different brands, but currently I’m using Supergoop.
Evening Pregnancy Skincare Routine
Step One: Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm: You guys, this is like a mini spa treatment! The balm turns into an oil-like consistency and then you rub all over your face and eyes. It removes all makeup – if I happen to be wearing any that day! It comes with its own muslin cloth which you wet with hot water, squeeze out and then lay on top of your face and neck. It smells and feels just like you are in a spa! Then use the cloth to remove makeup and cleanse the skin.
Step Two: Colleen Rothschild Face Oil No. 9: I love using this face oil at night. It is super hydrating, but doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy!
Step Three: La Prairie Cellular Eye Contour Cream: Repeat the same steps from the morning!
Step Four: Colleen Rothschild Extreme Recovery Cream: Are you sensing a theme here? Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! I use this as my final step in the evening to give my skin the ultimate in hydration.

Miscellaneous:
- Monthly Facials at Skintastic: I’ve been going to Skintastic for about five years. Before I was pregnant, I would do a microdermabrasion + chemical peel, now I opt for the OxyGeneo Facial.
- Egyptian Magic: I was fortunate that I didn’t have stretch marks from my last pregnancy and although I hear there isn’t much you can do to prevent them, I will try my best! I found Egyptian Magic at Whole Foods and have been using it on my belly for the last month. So far so good!
- Fresh Black Tea Mask: I’ve been using this mask for years. It is a great hydrating treatment that makes my skin feel softer and healthier-looking. It’s an instant pick-me-up!
- Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift: This is a new to me Clarisonic system that targets dull looking skin and uneven texture, along with treating fine lines. I’m looking forward to seeing the results and will keep you guys updated!
