We have almost survived the first week back to work after the holidays. And it wasn’t too bad, except for this artic cold front that hit Dallas this week. It makes getting out of bed when the alarm clock goes off extremely hard, if it wasn’t hard already!

On another note, now that the weather is actually cold enough to bundle up, faux fur is our best friend. It’s cozy, can make a statement & actually keeps you warm. Win, win & win. We are considering getting another one before Fashion Week– you can’t go wrong with leopard, gray, blue, classic black or one that is under $50!

candy colored handbags

Our Christmas decorations are put away, and our houses seem a little empty and less colorful without the decorations or Christmas tree! In some ways, as winter seems to drag on, our closets feel the same way. Wearing all black or neutrals has lost its luster, so we decided to add some fun color with a yellow handbag. Handbags are one of the places we like to invest in our wardrobes. With that being said, we usually stick to a neutral color to get more price per wear out of those investment pieces. Anyone else use this math?? Well, winter must have really gotten to us, because we can’t get enough of candy colored handbags- definitely not in the neutral category!
