Until recently, we didn’t own a single romper. Fast forward to now and everywhere we go we’re looking for a new one to add to our wardrobe! We were first drawn to this Parker romper based on the print, but we were completely sold once we put it on. The great fit & the silk fabric made it a no-brainer for wearing all summer long. Rompers can be a hard thing to fit, especially with every single body type there is out there; long-waisted, short-waisted, tall and petite. So when you find one that fits, it’s a great time to make the investment!

Linen and summer go together like wine & cheese. Yes, we know linen is wrinkled the moment you touch it, let alone wear it! But, it’s timeless, and keeps us cool and comfortable during the 100+ degree days- which is one of the things we like best about it. This dress has been in the rotation for about seven years, back to our Juicy Couture days! We’ve worn it with just about everything, but this particular day we chose a necklace combination from Elaine Turner. We love how the tortoise, turquoise & gold pop against the white. Add a summer sandal & clutch and we’re ready for lunch or shopping, or even a casual dinner at our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant!

fringe mini skirt

During the summer months, you can usually find us in an easy summer dress or a maxi. But every now & then, a skirt is just what the doctor ordered. Over Memorial Day, Katherine & Justin spent the weekend in Austin to see friends & family. Between making the rounds visiting everyone, enjoying a Memorial Day pig roast & spending time in the sun, Katherine found time to visit one of our favorite boutiques, Beehive. Beehive is a great, on-trend boutique that has now expanded to Ft. Worth. Their clothes are adorable and affordable, a great combination! This fringe mini skirt is the most recent Beehive purchase. A mini is the perfect thing to wear on those days when dresses just aren’t cutting it! We’re especially loving the detailing on this navy mini, the unexpected glam of this mini & the colors of this mini!
