Today Caleb and I are celebrating three years of marriage! Three years has really flown by– we have learned to live together, bought our first house, traveled across the US and Europe, and have suffered many failures in the kitchen (I accidentally set off the smoke alarm while steaming green beans last week!). These three years have been amazing, and everyday life is a blast when spending it with your best friend. Tonight we will be enjoying a bottle of champagne, and reminiscing over the great party that was our reception!

Our wedding destination was La Jolla, California. My parents grew up in San Diego and my extended family lives near the San Diego area. I spent many days on roller blades in the village of La Jolla and playing on the beaches of Del Mar. La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla was the perfect place to have our destination wedding– amazing views of the Pacific, great shops and restaurants within walking distance & it’s where my parents were married. The wedding weekend was such a special time, not only because of what we were committing to each other before God, but also because we were surrounded by 120 of our family members and closest friends in one of our favorite places!
