We love chocolate, but for the most part only in small doses.  A truffle here, or a chocolate chip cookie there, usually does the trick.  When researching dessert recipes for a recent birthday celebration this chocolate molten cake caught our eye.  The preparation is so simple for a dish with such great presentation & intense chocolatey flavor!  Even better, the cakes can be prepared several hours ahead before baking.  Prepared as individual dishes, it’s just the right amount of chocolate, and with the addition of vanilla & coffee ice cream – our idea of perfection!
