We love maxi dresses in the summer time! Our Target dresses, like these are our go-to for summer lounging around the house. But maxi dresses are so versatile! Opting for a little more glammed up look, like this striped version, is perfect for shopping or lunch with the girls. We found some great ones here and here! There’s something about a maxi that’s so much more comfortable in the summer heat than a pair of jeans. Add a great pair of wedges like these or these and a colorful clutch or tote and you’ve pulled together a great summer look without any fuss!

Spring is here and we are loving it (minus the fact it was cold & rainy yesterday!). In the past one thing we’ve missed with the arrival of spring, is having to put away the leather in our wardrobe. But not this year – leather for spring & summer is everywhere! Beside the obvious white and nude, we’re seeing leather in every color, and in every form, from light jackets to tanks, shorts, skirts & dresses. This little dress (a similar version here) is a great example of spring leather. The tank body of the dress is accented with the band of light blue leather at the bottom, so lightweight it feels like fabric! It’s great dressed up a bit here, but slip into a pair of flip flops, grab a straw tote, add these chunky earrings and you’ve got a great poolside brunch look.
