Happy Wednesday! It’s been a crazy few weeks (actually months) and we are excited for summer to be here and things to slow down just a tiny bit. Last weekend we had the best time in Duluth, Minnesota. We were visiting the place where Jean’s side of our family originated, coming over from Finland. Her mom and dad grew up there and we had a sweet time visiting a few of their favorite spots. We wish we could have said that the weekend was low key, but we were trying to fit as much as possible into the weekend and before the rain started! It was freezing cold with temps in the 40’s and it rained from Saturday evening through Sunday. We didn’t let it stop us and we did pretty much everything we had hoped to do. William was such a trooper and he loved going for hikes even though it was freezing! We got back to Dallas Sunday night and have been playing catch up since. Happy Wednesday! We are so excited that this is a short week for us. Tomorrow we are off on a quick weekend getaway to Arizona.

Our first stop is Flagstaff to see our cousin graduate from Northern Arizona University. After that we are headed to Scottsdale to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. We are looking forward to some R&R at our favorite place to stay in Scottsdale! There are spa treatments in store for the girls and golf for the guys. Throw in some cabana time and great meals and we think we have the recipe for a perfect getaway. Be sure to follow along on Insta Stories throughout the weekend

How is it Wednesday already?? Stia returned from her beach getaway late last night, worn out but happy. Today she’s facing mountains of laundry and trying to recover from her vacation with 11 couples, 14 children and 5 fellow pregos! William had a blast on the beach and in the water.
