DSC_0475If you follow us on Instagram, you know Stia & Caleb traveled abroad last week.  Most of our trips to Europe start and end in London, because that’s where our grandparents live, and this was trip was no exception.  We love to go to London, not only to see our grandparents, but because we love the city!  If you’ve never been to London, seeing all the touristy stuff is a must, but we also love spending time finding special little shops and markets, visiting a lot of pubs and just wandering through the amazing neighborhoods discovering places that feel like they are just our own! Feel free to reach out if you are traveling to London and are looking for any other suggestions.  We are spoiled with home cooked gourmet meals at my grandparents flat every night, so we don’t have many dinner suggestions!

Stia & Caleb are heading across the pond this week to visit London, Bayeux, Paris & Brugge!  Packing in a carry-on for a trip abroad is no small feat, but these are a few things that will definitely be making the cut: 1) an umbrella for those rainy days, 2) a clear pouch to keep all your liquids together while traveling by plane or train, 3) foldable flats, 4) classic aviators, 5) a neutral coat, 6) leave the big wallet at home and opt for a smaller credit card holder instead, 7) a chic passport cover, 8) our go-to lipstick, 9) a scarf for chilly days and easy layering, 10) these over the knee boots can take an outfit from day to night, 11) a portable charger to make sure your phone is always charged, 12) a weekender bag for easy packing.

Follow along on Instagram while we travel this week & please send any suggestions for London, France & Belgium!

snapshots from NYFW

Our first New York Fashion Week is kind of a blur.  It was unlike any trip to New York we’ve ever had!  No shopping to speak of, not much eating, and no sightseeing, except a walk through Central Park on a beautiful fall day.  Not that we’re complaining!  We had a blast and can’t wait to do it all over again.  But all that to say our “snapshots from NYFW” are very few!
