When we explore Dallas/Ft. Worth, we typically head south to Dallas. We love to shop at Highland Park Village, eat in the Harwood District, visit North Park Center or try a new coffee spot. Very rarely do we head north, but earlier this week we decided to visit Historic Downtown McKinney. It’s such a charming area, with so many cute shops and restaurants. We visited in the morning, walked around and then found ourselves at Emporium Pies. You guys, the pie was seriously the best we have ever had! We highly recommend the Nannerz and the Drunken Nut, but you can’t go wrong!

It was just a little bit chilly in the morning, so this blush pink sweater was the perfect thing to wear. It’s soft (I can’t wear itchy sweaters) and the ruffle detailing gives it just the right amount of feminine touch. Comfortable flats are key- there is a lot of outdoor walking!
