getting organized

August 29, 2014

DSC_0875How is it already the end of August?  Where did this year go?  How can we already be making plans for 2015?  All questions we have been asking recently!  We were so excited when Graphic Image sent us personalized calendars for 2015.  The perfect way for the three of us to get organized in our planning sessions!  We love keeping a written calendar, while also keeping our calendars up to date on our iPhones.  Not only are these calendars large enough to write in, and yet small enough to carry in your purse all day, they come in the prettiest colors.  Add your monogram and it looks like 2015 is already off to a stylish start!

giveaway: outline the sky & flywheel texas

June 26, 2014

DSC_0737Let’s be honest.  Not every day starts or ends with a workout for us, but at some point throughout the day you can probably find us in workout clothes, sometimes as “workout impostors”, just running errands or hanging out! But when workout clothing is as cute as it is these days, who can blame us for wearing it just for fun?  Our latest go-to tank is from Outline the Sky.  This tank is so soft & comes in so many great color combinations!  Palmer Dean, founder and CEO, created the company based on Google images of the Dallas skyline.  He now has Outline the Sky shirts for 14 cities & many more in the works.  Be sure to see if Palmer has created a t-shirt for your city here, or email him here to move the process along!  Because we aren’t always “workout impostors”,  we’ve teamed up with Outline the Sky and Flywheel Texas for this giveaway.  Enter to win an Outline the Sky t-shirt of your choice & a package of ten Flywheel or Flybarre classes at any Flywheel Texas location, good for one year (value $225)!

To enter this fabulous giveaway, scroll down to the end of the post and follow the instructions in the giveaway box.  Enter your email address in the box at the end of this post, (which no one else will ever see), & click the boxes that pop up to follow @Outlinethesky, @flywheelsports, and @bishopandholland on Instagram.  Good luck!  We’ll email the winner when the giveaway closes on Friday… good luck!

summer reading list

June 23, 2014

summer reading list

|image via|

Growing up, the most dreaded part of summer was the mandatory summer reading list.  If you’re like us, reading books was the last thing we wanted to do when we could spend all summer by the pool, running around with friends & hanging out.  Fast forward to now, and all we want is a couple of extra hours a day to sit down and read a good book.  With upcoming vacations, we’re so excited to have some time to read by the pool or on the plane, so we’ve started a grownup’s summer reading list!  Any recommendations for a good book to read this summer or any books that aren’t worth the time reading? Let us know!

1) The Fault in our Stars by John Green

2) Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

3) The One & Only by Emily Giffin

4) The Vactioners by Emma Straub

5) All Fall Down by Jennifer Weiner

6) The Possibilities by Kaui Hart Hemmings

7) I am Having so Much Fun Here Without You by Courtney Maum

8) #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amorusa

9) My Darling Daughter by Margaret Leroy

10) The Glitter Plan by Pamela Skiast-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor

Happy Reading!
