last call studio scene recap

DSC_0220Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of hosting Last Call Studio Scene at their Inwood Village location. We curated a selection of our favorite Spring Trends to share with our guests while they shopped and enjoyed sips & sweets.  Pink,  artistic prints, and black & white are the trends that we choose to highlight on our mannequins, but we also spotlighted spring leather, denim with denim & floral prints with the looks we pulled for our spring trend presentation.   There is such a great selection of on-trend items at Last Call Studio, it was hard to highlight just a few!  Of course we couldn’t leave without doing some shopping ourselves – we came away with this great jumpsuit (seen here) & this pop of pink clutch (seen here)!  We’re looking forward to hosting another Studio Scene in May at the Plano location.  Hope you can join us!

DSC_0565Working a 9-6 office job requires getting creative on the wardrobe front.  Yes, interviewing called for a skirt suit and a button-down shirt.  But, there’s such a fine line between stylishly work appropriate, and going a little too far from what’s acceptable!  We usually find ourselves rushing from work to happy hour, dinner, or an event, which leaves no time for an outfit change.  In order to be office appropriate, but also be able to head straight to an event after work, we’ve found these things to be our biggest lifesavers: 1) non-tailored dress pants 2) a cute top that can be worn under a blazer at the office & without afterwards, 3) a large tote bag to carry all the freshening up necessities & strappy shoes.  What tricks do you have to go from the office to a social event?

It’s Wednesday!  The weeks are flying by… how is it already the last week of March?!  Spring is a busy time of year for our family.  Over the span of less than two months, we celebrate four birthdays, add St. Patrick’s Day & Easter and we’re pretty much celebrating every weekend – which isn’t a bad thing – just busy!  With all the party planning & festivities, shopping has kind of taken a back seat.  But, we are promised a warm weekend from our weatherman, so we are crossing our fingers that we get to break out some spring clothes, or at least buy some online!  See below for our favorite steals & deals we found this week:
