We’re always on the lookout for a good dress to add to our closet. Dresses are so easy – one piece, some accessories & a great shoe and we’re good to go! And finding a good dress is even better when we find it on sale off-season. We’ll put it away for a few months & then finally get to wear it! This houndstooth Rag & Bone dress was found during Neiman Marcus Last Call sale in January. We usually think of houndstooth as being a woolen fabric, but in lightweight silk with the sheer black bib overlay this is definitely a spring-summer item. Besides being worn with a strappy heel, we’ll also be wearing it casual with flat sandals this summer. This dress had it’s first appearance a couple of weeks ago, and we’re pretty sure this won’t be its last!

Strappy sandals have always been one of our favorite summer shoes. When Stuart Weitzman came out with the “Nudist” Sandal, we immediately loved the style! Before purchasing The Nudist, we ordered a few similar, but less expensive versions online, only to be disappointed when trying them on. The second we tried the Stuart Weitzman sandals, we knew there was no comparison and that they were well worth the investment. We love the shape and elegant fit on the foot and all the great colors. We started with classic black (worn first here) and now we’re trying to decide what color to get next! Stuart Weitzman was offering a shoe customization where you could chose from many colors, including leopard and camo. We’re so bummed we missed the deadline for that option!
