This may be the easiest gift guide we’ve done yet- probably because it’s all the things we have on our own wish lists! And thankfully Santa thinks we have been very good this year, just the nice list for us! We think you can’t go wrong with a beautiful handbag, a classic pump, a little leopard, a new scent, baubles and a little something to keep your hands warm.

giving thanks

Happy Thanksgiving! Today is one of our favorite holidays. Other than the cooking, it is such a low key, relaxing day; a great time to spend with loved ones and unwind a bit. For us, giving thanks is something we try to remember to do every day, living with a grateful heart and thanking God for all things. So to start: we are thankful for loving families, great friends, a church home, good health… and, of course, fashion! We find it’s such a great way to be inspired, and an outlet for us to use our creativity. Today’s look is inspired by a casual Thanksgiving day spent with family or friends, cooking, hanging out & watching football. This plaid tunic is perfect to pair with leggings or your softest jeans, plus it has pockets – one of our favorite things!

Well, Dallas officially got the cold/rain front we have been hoping for! The mornings have been cooler and the afternoons are getting warmer, so it’s always a little confusing trying to get dressed in the morning. Anyone else have this issue? On days like this, we opt for a lightweight top (love this mixed media top), jeans, boots & a coat. When the temperature starts to rise, it’s easy to lose the coat and still look put together!
