foldable ballet flats

Most days you can find us in a great pair of heels, but not always. Sometimes our feet need a break, or it’s not the appropriate time or place for them. On those days, the first thing we reach for are Yosi Samra’s foldable ballet flats. They mange to be chic, while also being the most comfortable shoe. And the fact that you can fold them in half, and carry in your handbag for a quick change (when you can’t take the heels any longer!) is a win/win. Yosi is a pioneer in the foldable ballet flat, but has expanded his line to include great styles of loafers, boots and sandals (these are on our must have list for Spring/Summer). He has also added a line of children’s shoes – they are adorable!

We are excited to announce that Yosi Samra, the designer of our favorite foldable ballet flats, has been named Featured Designer for Fall1 Market by Fashion Industry Gallery. Yosi will be honored tonight at the FIG Fashions in the Park reception. Congratulations, Yosi!

hot pink & breast cancer awareness

This hot pink leather jacket was originally intended to be part of an outfit for New York Fashion Week, but it was so hot & humid that we opted to leave the jacket in our hotel room! Hot pink has been a long time favorite color of ours. It’s a color that instantly makes a statement & we love that it’s the color for the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. This specific jacket is not part of BCA, but we have compiled a list of hot pink items, some of which support BCA. Shop pink & shop for a cause!

gray dress

Gray is one of the top trends for Fall 2014 and we are starting to see it everywhere. At this time of year, we naturally start to turn towards dark colors: black, navy, or maroon, but we’re excited to “lighten up” our wardrobe with gray. This dress from Bel Air Studio & Design is the perfect transition dress. We plan on adding gray tights once the weather starts to cool down, but for now we’ll stick with a pair of suede Stuart Weitzman booties! Other ways we plan to incorporate gray into our wardrobe: a crossbody bag, flats & a hat.
