avocado toast

We have eaten avocado toast for years. We like it best for a snack or light lunch – easy & healthy! Our version of avocado toast is pretty straight forward: toasted whole wheat bread, a sliced, perfectly ripe avocado, and topped with some cracked black pepper. Sometimes we get a little crazy, and sprinkle crushed red pepper on top! That is until we read this article recently in Bon Appétit – 5 (New!) Ways to Top Avocado Toast. Life changer! Avocado toast has taken on a new meaning around here. Which one sounds the best to you?

Keeping on the same trend as this post, simplification of a closet is key. This winter we have invested in some key pieces, most of those being neutrals. They are easy to pair with other items in a closet and can be worn from season to season. In fact, this shearling vest has gotten more than enough wear this fall & winter! It’s easy to bundle up with a knit sweater for when you need to fight the cold, but we are so excited for chilly spring days to pair it with a favorite tee and slip on shoes.
