Happy Wednesday! This week has been a whirlwind. From getting back from New York on Monday, to moving forward on house renovations and all the details that go into that, we haven’t slowed down. Jean is getting ready to renovate her kitchen, so she has been working hard on finding new granite, appliances, faucets, etc! Is this something you would like to see more of on the blog? The renovations are not major ie: no knocking down walls, but more of an update. We plan to show some of the process through Instagram and Snapchat, but curious as to if you would like to read more about it on the blog…

We love walking in London. The streets are so charming- you never know what you will find if you turn down a random corner. Mews after mews all perfectly manicured, and so many chic Londoners walking their dogs. Not to mention the darling cafes and bakeries that tempt us to stop and indulge! We are enjoying a much needed break from the heat in Dallas, loving this cooler, rainy weather.

As we did for last week’s steals and deals, we are trying to find pieces that can easily transition from summer to fall. This wool panama hat is a perfect example. It’s on sale now, but will be worn through fall and winter. Our style is always evolving, so we try to focus on wear now and later, but not buying solely for the purpose of next summer– who knows if we will still like that style? It’s hard to believe that school is back in session, Labor Day is right around the corner, and summer is coming to an end. While it’s always sad to see pool days and lake weekends come to an end, we can not wait for some cooler tempatures! Lucky (or not) for us Texans, we should be having summer-like weather for the next month or so. This weekend we will be ditching the heat for a girl’s trip.
