Who else is ready for spring?? We are so ready. Thankfully, the first day of spring is next Monday! We’ve already filled our shopping carts with so many spring items. With a few baby showers, Easter and vacations planned, we can’t wait to start wearing dresses, floral and pink. We just ordered this floral maxi dress, this white dress (that’s only $49!) and this pretty yellow lace dress! And don’t get us started on shoes…these slides in black and nude, slip on loafers and the perfect heels to go with everything!

It looks like William is really embracing his “big brother to be” status. He took his first steps yesterday! He has been on the verge, walking all around the house using the walls and furniture to balance. He just didn’t seem to have the desire to walk from point A to point B. Anytime he wanted to get somewhere he would plop down and crawl so fast! Now we have a whole new ballgame and can’t wait to see how this goes.

Hope you all had a happy Valentine’s Day! Our celebrations were laid back, at home and it was just what we needed. We popped open some bubbly and made special meals to celebrate. This weekend, we are headed to Vegas to celebrate Stia’s and Caleb’s 30th birthdays a few weeks early. We are so excited to get together with tons of family from Texas and California, shop, eat and celebrate our way through Vegas

It’s been awhile since we’ve been, so please send any recommendations you may have! William will also be joining in on the festivities, so we would love to hear any kid friendly suggestions too. We plan on taking him to the Bellagio fountains and botanical gardens, Mandalay Bay’s shark reef aquarium, possibly a gondola ride at the Venetian and maybe see the secret garden and dolphin habitat at the Mirage. It sounds like our days will be full!

We are trying to pick up a few items to take to Vegas like these sandals that will be great for walking around during the day, a crop jumpsuit that is chic and easy to wear for dinner and this top is already in our packing- again!
