With the Holidays upon us, we’ve been trying to be ready as early as we possibly can! We’ve made lists for everyone, have purchased some gifts and we’ve been waiting for Black Friday sales to begin so we can our finish Christmas shopping! We are so glad that Walmart is starting Black Friday earlier than ever this year! Deals for Days starts… right now, and ends November 27th! These deals will also be available in store on November 26th.

We’re shopping these deals early because we all know they won’t last long, and thankfully we can find gifts for the whole family!

Thanksgiving Snack Board

The Holiday countdown is on! We are less than three weeks away from Thanksgiving… we can hardly believe it! In an effort to slow down and enjoy quality time with family and friends, we are planning to make a Thanksgiving Snack Board as an easy and convenient way to feed guests while waiting for the big meal! Less plates, lots of different food options and easy clean up! Walmart has the best selection to fill your Thanksgiving snack board, making it so convenient to shop for and put together! Whether you prefer pre-cut cheeses or selecting your own, Walmart has so many selections to choose from.

We have so much fun picking out both unique and familiar items for snack boards and love coming up with new ideas. For this Thanksgiving inspired snack board, we wanted to pull out some fall colors, ie: pomegranate and orange. To get started; find a pretty cheese board and cheese knives, lots of different cheeses, olives, nuts, salami, dried fruit, etc., and you are well on your way to a yummy snack board that is pretty and easy!

Some of new items we found at Walmart for our snack board are Cranberry Habanero Cheddar, Dubliner Cheddar and this mini Mozzarella ball salad. We found honeycomb, dried orange slices, glazed pecans, dried figs and cranberries, adorable mini pecan tarts and the cutest miniature apples! Walmart also has our tried and true snack board items; Manchego cheese, salami, grapes, crackers, and baguettes to slice.

You can also find the perfect serving pieces for your Thanksgiving Snack Board at Walmart. We found this beautiful marble and brass cheese board – it’s the best size for a large gathering! These cheese knives are beautiful, these little bowls are useful additions for mustards and jams, and this vase and cocktail napkins are the perfect finishing touches.

The weather in Dallas has been unusually hot for this time of year! So when we heard we were getting a “cold front” we immediately wanted to make our favorite soup for dinner.
