Styling an Ice Cream Bar Cart

It’s official- summer is here and we couldn’t be happier! Summer entertaining is one of our favorite things to do and we’re finding so much inspiration at Walmart Home. In our family, summer nights usually end eating ice cream. We found this easy to use ice cream maker at Walmart Home and decided to try our hand at making our own homemade ice cream!

The whole process only takes about 20 minutes, so we decided to set up a cute ice cream bar for the boys for after dinner treats. We placed the ice cream maker, these cute ice cream cups and spoons, colorful napkins and all the toppings on this adorable bar cart that we also found at Walmart Home. We love this white vase and it was the perfect filler for the bottom of the bar cart! The bar cart can be used both indoors and outdoors, and it was the perfect way to serve up our ice cream. The boys love making homemade ice cream and we love making it fun and festive. If your family prefers a more traditional ice cream maker, Walmart also has this one available that looks like an old fashioned ice cream churn– so cute!

PS: This would be so easy to translate to other summer treats like a snow cone party, frozen yogurt, or even a frozen margarita setup for the adults!

Clean Household Items we Buy from Walmart

We’ve always strived to eat healthy, and a few years ago we started buying almost all organic foods. In the past year or so we also became more intentional about using clean products in other areas besides groceries. Since one of our favorite ways to save time and money is by using Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery, we were very happy to find that Walmart carries so many of the clean products that we use every day. We love being able to access Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery either on our laptop or cell phone, add to it as things come to mind and place our order at our convenience. Once we place our order it arrives so quickly at our door, within an hour or so. Walmart always has the lowest prices, but with three little guys in tow, the convenience, time saving and no stress of using Walmart Online Pickup & Delivery is priceless!

Walmart’s Pickup service is always free. There is a small delivery fee and minimum $35 order for Walmart’s Delivery service.

Clean Household Items We Buy From Walmart

  • Everyone lotion: We use this for the whole family. It’s non-toxic and it smells so good!
  • Diapers: We’ve been using these diapers for Ford. No chlorine, latex or fragrances. He’s in a size 4.
  • Detangler: This plant-based detangler is our go-to for the kids.
  • Bubble bath: Henry is a huge fan of bubble baths and this one smells so good without all the bad ingredients.
  • Sunscreen: It’s officially sunscreen season and this spray is so easy to get on the boys while they are busy running around outside or swimming. We use this one for their faces.
  • Deodorant: So many different fragrances to choose from.
  • Whitening Toothpaste: This is the toothpaste we use daily. It’s a naturally whitening fluoride toothpaste.

Easter Basket Fillers from Walmart

This time of year is always busy for us. Within a one month span we celebrate five family birthdays, so Easter really snuck up on us this year! Being that it is this weekend, we decided to utilize Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery service to order all the fillers for the boys’ Easter baskets. Walmart has the best selection of fun toys, Easter specific items and candy for Easter baskets. Not to mention, Walmart carries so many of our favorite grocery items, too.

Walmart Online Pickup & Delivery is such a great service for those with busy schedules. Prices are always the same low prices as found in store and never any hidden fees. Walmart Online Pickup is always free, while there is small charge for the Walmart Delivery service and a $35 minimum order applies. I am always happy to pay a small fee for the stress free convenience of not having to shop with three little ones in tow!

While the boys were sleeping, I was able to order everything I needed to fill their Easter baskets and it was all delivered to my door in just a few hours. So easy and so cute! Here’s what I ordered:
