Sweaters with ruffles are everywhere! And we are loving it. A couple of weeks ago we had our first taste of fall and I couldn’t get into this ruffle sleeve sweater fast enough. The family was meeting up for drinks to kick off Justin’s birthday week and this casual look was the perfect thing to wear. It has already been a busy fall, so we are always on the lookout for an opportunity to get together and celebrate! Green isn’t usually my go-to color, but I love the soft olive green of this sweater. Wearing it with mule loafers and a black handbag gives a casual, but put together feel. With cold weather that’s bound to come through Dallas sometime this fall, you’ll definitely see me wearing this ruffle sleeve sweater on repeat with my over the knee boots!

striped bell sleeve top

Striped tops are a staple in every wardrobe – I have plenty of them in my closet! I love this striped top that has been updated for this fall. The bell sleeves are the perfect addition to an otherwise “another striped top.” It makes it easy to throw on my favorite mules and have a casual put together look!

My husband’s birthday is early next week, so we are starting his birthday celebrations early! Family dinner on Saturday evening and then settling in for a full day of football on Sunday. On Sundays during football season we almost always get together as a family to watch our teams (the Chargers and the Cowboys). We either snack on our favorite football snacks or cook a meal together. It’s one of my favorite traditions!
