Happy Tuesday! Can you guys believe it’s almost July? It’s hard to believe that the Fourth of July is next week and that summer is in full swing. We’ve been living in breezy summer dresses, but it’s also nice to dress up a bit or wear jeans and a cute top, even in the heat of the summer.

Today, we’ve partnered with Banana Republic to share three menswear inspired looks. We love how Banana Republic has taken a slight twist on your everyday summer classics incorporating menswear detailing. The striped asymmetrical dress Katherine is wearing is more than just your average striped dress. It can easily transition from work (with a blazer or sweater over it) to drinks! We love the twist on the classic men’s dress shirt  that Jean is wearing – so chic and flattering. And a usually dressy wrap top can easily be dressed down to Stia’s “mom-life” uniform by pairing with jeans and comfy mules!

 Look One: A day of meetings

On a typical day, you can find us running from a meeting to lunch or shooting outfit posts for the blog. I love to throw on a dress for a day like this. These summer slides are a perfect accent to this snakeskin print dress. I love the ease of this dress so much, I own it in a floral print too!

Look Two: Saturday morning coffee run

Weekends are the perfect time to catch up on family time and unwind a bit. We have a standing family date where we stroll to coffee on Saturday mornings if we are in town! Even though it is so hot out, I usually bring a light sweater to wear inside – the a/c is always freezing!

 Look Three: Casual Date night

The days are few and far between when Caleb and I get out for a date night sans baby. Typically, our date nights are early (We are talking the early bird special!) and with a baby and stroller in tow. Flat sandals and a dress are a go-to for a casual date night look. I love the way this off the shoulder dress looks with a pair of statement earrings!

It’s kind of funny, but basically we have a love/hate relationship with the color red. Sometimes we can find the perfect shade of red that goes with just about everything. But for us it’s really hit or miss. Over the past few years, we have slowly started to incorporate red into our wardrobes. This tote bag was a major investment, but has been well worth the splurge considering how many times it’s been used! We are really tempted to add these driving mocs or these flats we are crazy about!

When shopping at Banana Republic for a few spring essentials, this red linen sweater caught our attention. And it happened to be that perfect shade of red. We love it with white jeans for this time of the year!
