Happy Tuesday! The start of this week has been busy already. We kicked off Monday by hosting a pop-up Trunk Show for Lele Sadoughi. Lele is Dallas born and raised, but has lived in New York for 15 years. She has designed for Club Monaco, Banana Republic, Anthropologie and J. Crew, and in 2012 created her own collection. Each piece is a work of art! You can see us wearing her collection here, here and here.

This outfit is a favorite “lunch and errands” outfit. The floral peplum top can be dressed up or down, but we love the way it looks with a pair of skinny jeans and classic flats. The top is a statement piece, so it’s we like to keep the rest of the outfit simple. We also love the way it looks with a pair of black dress pants, or even white jeans.

Last week, we attended a blogger lunch with Hush Puppies at Sissy’s Southern Kitchen in Dallas. You may have seen this picture on Instagram, the setup was beautiful and everything about it was bright, colorful and springy! This drop waist dress (that’s only $115) was the perfect spring dress to wear for the occasion. The abstract floral is the perfect spin on your traditional floral and a drop waist dress is flattering and so easy to wear for anyone!

If you are visiting Dallas in the near future, Sissy’s is such a great spot for dinner or brunch! Their fried chicken is amazing and you must try it with Sissy’s homemade hot sauce. The grapefruit julep is also not to be missed 🙂

It’s kind of funny, but basically we have a love/hate relationship with the color red. Sometimes we can find the perfect shade of red that goes with just about everything. But for us it’s really hit or miss. Over the past few years, we have slowly started to incorporate red into our wardrobes. This tote bag was a major investment, but has been well worth the splurge considering how many times it’s been used! We are really tempted to add these driving mocs or these flats we are crazy about!

When shopping at Banana Republic for a few spring essentials, this red linen sweater caught our attention. And it happened to be that perfect shade of red. We love it with white jeans for this time of the year!
