One of our favorite purchases this summer has been the palm leaf print dress we wore when we were in Laguna Beach.  It is so comfortable and easy to wear that we have found ourselves wearing it over and over.  You can imagine how happy we were when we discovered the same style dress in a new print, and also four solid colors (that are only $52!).  We love floral, so the feminine print was an instant purchase!  This print is great for wearing now for summer with sandals, but being in the darker tones, it will easily transition to fall.  Just add a long cardigan sweater and these cute booties, and just like that you’re ready for fall!  Even though it is still the middle of summer, we try to consider the purchases we are making now in light of the transition to the next season.  In Dallas, our temperatures stay warm well into fall, so it’s not so much about not being cold as it is about changing the mood from the heat of summer to the new season!

This dress is another one of our Topshop x Nordstrom finds.  Any time we are heading out of town we check to see if there is anything new or something to take that we just can’t live with out!  Right now there are some great Topshop buys for fall in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  We found this cream sweater, a gray cardigan that will be cute over jeans or over our workout wear, and this great wrap coat that we will love when the weather gets chilly!
