DSC_0823The countdown is on… only one week until Christmas Day! Have you finished all your shopping yet?  We completed ours last Saturday right after a delcious birthday brunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Please, don’t ask why we decided to go to Northpark Mall on a Saturday during Christmas!  For a full day of shopping, we like to stick to something casual.  This floral sweatshirt from Loft was perfect.  Easy for trying on clothes (hey, sometimes we see something and need to treat ourselves!) and, by adding a statement necklace, a black jean & heels, this sweatshirt can be easily dressed up.  Don’t worry, we switched into these flats for the mall!

giving thanks

DSC_0518Happy Thanksgiving!  Today is one of our favorite holidays.  Other than the cooking, it is such a low key, relaxing day; a great time to spend with loved ones and unwind a bit.  For us, giving thanks is something we try to remember to do every day, living with a grateful heart and thanking God for all things.  So to start: we are thankful for loving families, great friends, a church home, good health… and, of course, fashion!  We find it’s such a great way to be inspired, and an outlet for us to use our creativity.  Today’s look is inspired by a casual Thanksgiving day spent with family or friends, cooking, hanging out & watching football.  This plaid tunic is perfect to pair with leggings or your softest jeans, plus it has pockets – one of our favorite things!
