A blanket scarf is a great way to stay cozy when it gets cool out. And, clearly it’s the trend of the season, because we are seeing them everywhere! The thing we love most is how many different ways the blanket scarf can be worn. Our favorite way so far is to wear it as a cape/shawl, but we love to bundle up with it around our neck, too.

Styling tip: When wearing a blanket scarf we try to keep slim, clean lines with our other pieces – skinny jeans, a slim cut sweater & cross body bag for definition

giving thanks

Happy Thanksgiving! Today is one of our favorite holidays. Other than the cooking, it is such a low key, relaxing day; a great time to spend with loved ones and unwind a bit. For us, giving thanks is something we try to remember to do every day, living with a grateful heart and thanking God for all things. So to start: we are thankful for loving families, great friends, a church home, good health… and, of course, fashion! We find it’s such a great way to be inspired, and an outlet for us to use our creativity. Today’s look is inspired by a casual Thanksgiving day spent with family or friends, cooking, hanging out & watching football. This plaid tunic is perfect to pair with leggings or your softest jeans, plus it has pockets – one of our favorite things!

When you have just added something to your wardrobe and have already lost track of how many times and different ways you have worn it– that is a good sign! Versatility is key in any closet and something we consider before making a purchase, although it’s not always the deciding factor. Here are a couple of different ways we’ve worn these pieces already: with a striped shirt & with a floral midi.
