A romantic top is a great piece to have in your wardrobe. We saw this romantic top while we were out shopping last year. Not really sure how much we would wear it, we just couldn’t resist the feminine look and breezy feel of it. Now almost a year later, we have worn it so many times! At first we thought of it as a dressier option and wore it with dark jeans and Chanel flats, but then we tried it like Stia is wearing it here, and realized it is a really versatile top!

the best sales this week- #nsale

For our best sales this week, we knew we couldn’t get any better than the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so we spent our time this week searching for more of the best things we could find! We already shared some favorites on this post and some super helpful tips and strategy for the sale here. This really is a great time to look forward and take stock of your wardrobe moving into fall. We have! While we were taking stock for the sale, we realized that we love our gray suede over the knee boots so much (and wore them so much!) we had to get them in black, too. Picking up some new jeans for fall is on the list, these are a tried and true favorite jean and we just got this distressed pair and love the fit and the price! It’s a good idea try to pick up at least one item in the fall trend color, like this handbag or these booties. And we would completely remiss if we didn’t get something adorable for William- and our husbands, too We hope that you guys find some things that will take you into Fall and through Winter! Under $100:

A beautiful poncho that comes in four colors, a girl can never have too many skinny jeans and this shirtdress is perfect with booties

Designer Splurge:

A classic coat that will never go out of style, tan booties that go with everything and over the knee boots that should be in everyone’s closet

Shoes:

These red booties are a must have, a lace up flat is at the top of our list and a heeled sandal with fringe and in a color that will go with everything this fall

Boots:

You can’t go wrong with an over the knee boot with tassel detail, we love this fringe boot and an over the knee boot in a great neutral and at a great price

Handbags:

Love this cognac bag with a tassel that’s under $30, a pop of red and oxblood, the perfect crossbody and one of our favorite bags of the sale

Beauty:

Our favorite travel cleansing beauty product, can’t wait to try this cheek palette and our our go-to candles for the house on sale for $50

Workout Wear:

These leggings, love this wrap hoodie and a new pair of sneakers is always a good idea

For the Men:

Our husbands love this polo for golf, a great shirt with jeans or a business casual look, he’ll want this tee in every color and this sweater is perfect for when the weather turns chilly

Men’s shoes:

A classic driving loafer, this ankle boot is a great casual look and a loafer to dress up his jeans or wear to work

For the Kids:

This pack and play is used almost daily at our house, William’s winter coat and the softest blankets

Top Ten Items to buy during Anniversary Sale 2016:

Handbag: This Chloé look alike is our top handbag pick for this Anniversary sale. The color is the perfect neutral and we love the size- it’s a shoulder bag that will fit more than just a phone and wallet!
Jeans: After doing a closet overhaul and getting rid of many pairs of jeans (some were from ten years ago!), jeans are on our list this year. We love this slightly distressed pair from AG.
Sunglasses: Illesteva sunglasses have been on our list for quite some time. Finally going to pull the trigger today… just can’t decide between the tortoise and the pink!
Make-up: This is the best time to purchase gift sets and beauty products. This Laura Mercier eye and cheek set has great colors and is perfect for traveling- pretty much everything you need in one compact.
Boots: This bootie is perfect for fall/winter. The color goes with everything and it’s the perfect heel height!
Watch: Can you believe that MICHELE watches are on sale? And this one is $800 off! It’s the perfect time to invest in a beautiful watch that you will wear for years.
Workout wear: Last year we went a little crazy buying Zella yoga pants. They are so comfortable and perfect for working out, but also days when we just want to be comfy running errands. Plus, they come in the greatest prints as well as the classic colors. Add a pair of fun running shoes and we are good to go!
Jacket or coat: This can be a big investment, but we’ve found that we’re always happy we bought now when it turns cold later. We love the colorblocking in neutrals of this coat, but also love this classic black wrap coat.
Trend items: This is a great time to invest in some trend items, too. This moto jacket is a great trend piece that won’t break the bank! We’ll be wearing it with jeans, but also over dresses and skirts- all fall and winter long.
A designer splurge : We’ve found that now is the time to treat ourselves to a designer item before the season hits. Our favorite designer splurge this year? These over-the-knee boots! They are super comfortable and can be worn all season long!

Now that we are almost done shopping for ourselves, it’s time to start thinking about our husbands, baby William (just bought his winter coat!) and that early Christmas shopping list!
