Ever since Henry was born, William seems so much bigger and so much more like a little boy now. It’s like I blinked and he’s not a baby anymore! At the beginning of September, William started a Mother’s Day Out program one day a week. The first time I dropped him off, he cried and I cried. Fast forward to a month later and he asks me everyday if he’s going to school, gets so excited when I bring out his backpack and lunch box and now he cries when we leave school. He absolutely loves it.
You all know that I love dressing William in the traditional way, but at school he is painting, playing outside, doing obstacle courses and arts & crafts. Not to mention snack and lunch time – he’s a mess when I pick him up! I stopped by Nordstrom to try to find a few key basics for fall and comfy clothes that he can wear to school and play hard in. This check pocket shirt is one of our favorites – it’s so soft and easy to put on over his head (We have it in white, too!). And I love these little khaki pants – they remind me of his daddy’s favorite pants! We are huge fans of Freshly Picked moccasins, but William is required to wear rubber soled shoes at school. We picked up this pair of red sneakers when he first started and I couldn’t help but grab these high tops for this fall/winter – too cute!
PS Fries are not a staple in William’s diet, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do, right? We thought a surprise fry order for a few more pics was a fair trade 😉
