Happy Wednesday! We are definitely in the dog days of summer here in Dallas. The only thing to do if you’re outside is to stay in the pool, otherwise inside is the place to be! Anyone else longing for a little bit cooler weather? We aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, but will be happy once we aren’t hitting 100 degrees every day! With fall merchandise hitting stores, there are so many great summer deals. Shop the best sales this week below:

ballet flats

Ballet flats are one of our favorite styles of shoes. They are a classic look and are so comfortable. It’s no wonder the French look so chic when wearing them. We recently became familiar with L.K.Bennett, a London-based luxury clothing and accessory line. They make beautiful shoes and their ballet flats are a dream! They are beautifully made with the softest leather (seriously, they feel like butter on your feet!) and they are so comfortable as well. You better believe they are our new go-to travel shoes… so comfortable and easy to slip on and off!

Ballet flats really are the perfect shoe for every life style. Katherine finds that they are perfect to wear to the office to look professional and put together, but loves slipping them on with a casual weekend look, too. Stia loves to wear ballet flats while running to meetings or running errands. Jean wears them to shoot our outfit posts or when meeting the girls for coffee. As we start to think about the transition to fall they are a great way to move out of sandals. Ballet flats are just the tip of the iceberg at L.K.Bennett. Hope you all didn’t have any trouble making it to the middle of the week! We’ve been working on a fun project that we’ll share with you later this week and we have loved having our intern with us (aka Nikki, Jean’s niece/Stia and Katherine’s cousin!). She has been a big help! As you can probably imagine we’ve managed to have a little fun too More cousins are on the way to us this weekend and we cannot wait to all be together! Also on the agenda; we are super excited to be hosting the Jessica Simpson + Babies “R” Us Fashion Show revealing her new collection of clothes for baby and toddler girls.
