Slowly but surely, the weather is starting act more like fall in Dallas. We aren’t quite to sweater weather yet, but with the help of sleeveless sweaters, we are getting there! While in New York for Fashion Week, we picked up this great basic. A sleeveless grey sweater goes with pretty much anything and is perfect for 80 degree weather. Plus, we love the fact that it will look great under a classic black leather jacket once the weather cools down, and it will be so cute with a military jacket and a pair of booties.

Sleeveless sweaters are shown in most collections this season. This is a great neutral and at a great price (only $68!). We also love this classic black sleeveless sweater, and we think this striped sleeveless sweater is adorable!

Living in Dallas, outerwear is something that we haven’t put a lot of thought into in the past. Yes, it gets cold, but usually for a short time before it warms up again. For the most part, we’ve just worn something we’ve had in our closet for awhile! But this year the cold started with a bang and hasn’t let up, and outerwear is all we can think about. Because our collection of coats was lacking, we decided that it would be smart to start with basic neutrals. Best intentions! French Connection has great basics for every season. One thing we love the most about this sweatshirt top/skirt combo is the zip details. An unexpected touch to an otherwise basic outfit. And, the best part of this look is how we can switch out the skirt for a pair of distressed jeans and moto booties, or switch out the sweatshirt for one of our favorite Equipment tops, and have two more completely different looks. We’re always on the lookout for something versatile to add to our closet!
