Even though summer is in full swing, we can’t help but look forward to fall fashion.  The thought of putting on a heavy coat makes us feel a little uncomfortable, but seeing all these adorable booties and plaid dresses has us itching for cooler weather.  Well, maybe not quite, but we are planning for it!  One of our favorite ways of planning for our fall wardrobe is shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  We keep going back and realizing we have forgotten some key items, like this make-up pallet!  We are also on the look out for amazing end of summer sales, and finding great transition items, like these adorable lace-up flats, that will look great with a little black dress now, and jeans in the fall.  They aren’t on sale, but at under $100 we want to get them in the red version, too!  Shop our latest steals and deals here:

Wednesday has never looked so good!  It has been a long week so far, so it’s nice to know we are on the downhill slope to Friday!  This weekend should be pretty relaxing.  Our husbands are planning to watch the British Open, and we will join them in between relaxing by the pool!  It feels like summer just hit Dallas with these 100 degree temps.  Usually we hit 100 degrees much earlier than this, so we are grateful for the late start!  It also seems that most of our favorite stores and websites are having huge summer sales!  It’s a great time to add a beautiful handbag from gigi new york, or the latest offerings from j. crew.  And don’t miss the nordstrom anniversary sale, new fall arrivals discounted for a limited amount of time.  This is early access, so be aware that only cardholders can shop now until July 16th when the sale opens to the public.

It’s only the best sale of the year… the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here!  All the brand new fall styles are on sale for a limited time before prices go back up on August 3rd.   If you are like us, now is when we stock up on coats, boots (a favorite pair of over-the-knee boots are on sale for under $200!), sweaters, athletic wear and a few things for our husbands.  Some of our favorite items are above, but tomorrow we will give you a more in-depth look (like these Hunter boots) at what we think are the best items to invest in now!  Look for our favorite items for women, men, and even kids, now that Stia has a baby on the way! PS: The beauty exclusives are pretty amazing!
