Happy Tuesday! Somehow or other Monday was a blur, so… did y’all have a good weekend? Justin and I were in Houston celebrating our college friend’s wedding. We had a blast seeing so many old friends and stayed up way too late 😉 Actually, that’s the second wedding we’ve been to in the last two weekends! It’s definitely wedding season!

I wanted to share this blush pink off the shoulder dress that I bought to wear for wedding season. We clearly have an off the shoulder obsession, but I couldn’t pass up this color or the pretty draped detailing on the shoulders. For a wedding, I’ll wear it dressed it up with my go-to pumps and statement earrings, but I love the fact that it can also be worn more casual with a cute pair of lace up sandals. I have a feeling that this one will be on repeat all spring and summer!

Hope you all are having a good week so far! We are enjoying family time in London- the weather is beautiful. This is a shorter trip (we head back home at the end of the week), so we are trying to soak up all we can for the rest of our trip! Maybe another trip to our favorite coffee shops and we have a few fun meetings planned for Friday.

It’s really hard (and very rare) for me to go outside my “fashion” comfort zone. My typical style is very feminine (like this off the shoulder top) and I don’t know if I have ever worn wide leg pants in my life! But these wide leg pants are not only adorable, they are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn. They literally feel like I’m wearing pajamas! I think I’ll have to try getting out of my fashion comfort zone more frequently– have you ever tried to get outside of your fashion comfort zone?

black & white off the shoulder dress

Are you tired of seeing off the shoulder dresses yet? We just can’t get enough of this style! Especially since it hit 100 today, and the forecast still says the next 10 days will be 100+ degree days. Typically August is our hottest month, and it is coming in with a bang! In light of that, off the shoulder dresses have become our best friends. They are cool, comfortable and can be styled so many different ways.

For a date night last weekend, Stia wore this off the shoulder dress and opted for lace-up flats instead of heels. Did you see our post about lace-up flats last week? We are definitely on board! The detailing on this off the shoulder dress makes it just a little bit different than some of the others we have seen, and the darker color will make it an easy transition to fall. On another note, we hope you will join us tonight from 4-7 pm at Saint Bernard in Dallas! Shoe designer Yosi Samra will be making a personal appearance, and signing his ballet flats for you. There will be a trunk show with new styles for fall, along with shopping, champagne sipping, and Fluff pop gourmet cotton candy. Sounds like a great way to spend a Thursday evening to us.
