In our opinion, being halfway through the week deserves some celebrating!  In fact, we love celebrating the small victories whenever possible.  And that goes hand in hand with remembering to be grateful.  Our pastor once shared that his family names three things they are thankful for each evening around the dinner table.  For the past few months, we have been taking that to heart and trying it ourselves.  It really helps to keep things in perspective in getting through the week!

It’s really hard to think about fall when you’re sweating during continuous 100 degree summer days!  But, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is ending in just a few short days, and it’s better to be safe than sorry, right?  Last year we were so mad we didn’t buy a pair of boots on the sale when a month later we were buying them full price!  So we have been trying to get in the fall/winter mindset.  If you’re like us, you keep finding new things that you just have to have before the price goes back up.  And that happens this Monday, August 3rd, so now is the perfect time to pick up the things you are going to need!

Even though summer is in full swing, we can’t help but look forward to fall fashion.  The thought of putting on a heavy coat makes us feel a little uncomfortable, but seeing all these adorable booties and plaid dresses has us itching for cooler weather.  Well, maybe not quite, but we are planning for it!  One of our favorite ways of planning for our fall wardrobe is shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  We keep going back and realizing we have forgotten some key items, like this make-up pallet!  We are also on the look out for amazing end of summer sales, and finding great transition items, like these adorable lace-up flats, that will look great with a little black dress now, and jeans in the fall.  They aren’t on sale, but at under $100 we want to get them in the red version, too!  Shop our latest steals and deals here:
