Working a 9-6 office job requires getting creative on the wardrobe front. Yes, interviewing called for a skirt suit and a button-down shirt. But, there’s such a fine line between stylishly work appropriate, and going a little too far from what’s acceptable! We usually find ourselves rushing from work to happy hour, dinner, or an event, which leaves no time for an outfit change. In order to be office appropriate, but also be able to head straight to an event after work, we’ve found these things to be our biggest lifesavers: 1) non-tailored dress pants 2) a cute top that can be worn under a blazer at the office & without afterwards, 3) a large tote bag to carry all the freshening up necessities & strappy shoes.
